Howden Road, Norwood

PROJECT OVERVIEW
This unique project began when our clients approached us early in their home design journey. With their architectural drawings in progress, they needed a builder who could bring their ambitious vision to life.
From our first meeting at the derelict property, we recognised the creativity and complexity of their plans.
After submitting the initial design to planning authorities, the client faced challenges getting approval due to the bold and unconventional nature of their home. A year later, with approvals in hand, we were ready to build.
What followed was a deeply collaborative and highly detailed process that would ultimately deliver a high-spec, design-led home with stunning features and structural ingenuity.

PROJECT OVERVIEW
This was a truly bespoke home, designed with several unique features that required exceptional attention to detail. These included elegant curved doorways and walls, large glass windows that maximise natural light, and a beautiful basement library created using specialist construction methods.
Like many unique homes, the project came with challenges. The mix of building techniques and the precision needed for curved features meant every element had to be carefully planned and expertly built.
We worked closely with the architects and homeowner throughout, helping refine ideas and solve challenges along the way. This included developing a concealed fire door to meet safety regulations without compromising space, and adapting to design changes during the build to ensure the finished home balanced practicality with the client’s vision
